Professionalism in agency.

Peter Bolton King , Global Director of Professionalism and Ethics, RICS

The RoPA report calls for minimum competency standards to improve the professionalism of the sector but what does ‘Professionalism’ mean in this day and age?

Acting professionally should be at the heart of what it means to be a professional, but what is correct ethical behaviour? Commercial pressures can cause difficult conflicts, and we all know many examples where poor behaviour has had a massive negative impact on companies.

In this session, Peter will explore this topic using research undertaken by RICS. He will also touch on how International Standards are being used to improve professionalism and helping to provide a more transparent framework.
